CHAMBERING WITH MUZZLE FLUSHING

Every chamber is cut with a reamer flushing system manufactured by GRE’-TAN RIFLES. This flushes all chips out the back end of the reamer and prevents chips from migrating into the bore and scratching the select match bore that you have paid dearly for.

All reamers 17 cal. and larger are piloted. 10 through 14 cal. reamers are solid pilot. The changeable pilots are in .0001 increments for perfect bore fit and reamer alignment.

Here we can see a .17 MACH IV being backed out to flush while chambering. This system not only keeps the barrel free from chips, but also constantly lubricates the reamer. The result is a glass smooth chamber of the highest concentricity.

This system of chambering is highly recommended by reamer manufactures. Check it out.

This photo also shows the reamer holder manufactured by GRE’-TAN RIFLES.  This reamer holder constantly maintains precise alignment of the reamer to bore and does not tip the reamer to ride hard on one side of the bore because of the 360 deg. hold on the reamer. The holder also provides radial alignment to the center line of the barrel bore.

The tooling designed and manufactured by GRE’- TAN RIFLES is for one purpose and that is to machine the most concentric chambers possible!

From up close brush guns to 1000 yard competition creations, ALL riles are built with the technology and knowledge that my shop has perfected.
