I will send your firearm back in the container that you sent it in. This is not the best for a completed rifle all the time. I don’t have time to make boxes. I sell gun cases for this purpose. The best way to ship a firearm is to use a gun case. This can be as simple and inexpensive as a plastic Gun Guard put back in it’s card board box. Include detailed instructions and return address and phone numbers where you can be reached.

You can ship any firearm to me for work with no special requirements other than removing the bolt from the firearm.

Use U.P.S. or FEDEX, they have tracking numbers and reasonable insurance rates for packages.

I cannot guarantee I will not scratch your finish. Every effort is made to prevent this (and it is rare), but clamping for machining in and out of lathes and mills, removing barrels that are very tight, etc.., it sometimes happens.
